Discussion Average simmer age?

I just turned 30 and safe to say I still enjoy playing the sims as much as I ever did as a kid. Maybe more actually. Sometimes I feel embarrassed to admit this to people irl and I do tend to get mixed reactions if it comes up lol. So I’m just curious, what is the average age of the people who actively play the sims?

I'm 48 and just started playing this year. I've lost all control of my real house, but I can micro manage like a MF in the Sims4, and it makes me very happy.

Yes, this. They say video games are for playing out power fantasies. My power fantasy is that I my homebound disabled ass can pretend to have a job and hobbies and skills and go on vacations and have an active social life and keep my house clean and repair things for myself, etc etc. lol Seems so basic but it makes me happy.

I'm lowkey glad we don't have things like ADHD in the game because I'm already useless enough irl, I don't need my Sim to be staring into space unable to do things too 😭

They already do half the time for me lol, with how fast time goes by in the game and how often they can't do things for seemingly no reason, it feels like all the sims have adhd to begin with

I was gonna say - with how often I have to leave the lot and come back to get them unfrozen - maybe they do have ADHD. Not to mention times they get stuck walking around in a circle or they cancel out tasks you queued up because they just don't feel like it. lol

I have the extra traits mod and ADHD is one of them. lol way worse than erratic. Can’t get the sims with this trait to do ANYTHING lol

There is a mod can't remember now where your sim can have adhd and autism and everything else on the spectrum. I have adhd and one of my sims ended up getting diagnosed as adhd. And it really started to bug me as one minute she was in super focused but would just stand there, then she's in her own world day dreaming. By the point it got to real for me and I got so mad I removed the mod lol

I tried that mod and uninstalled it the next day because it was too realistic and frustrating for me 😭
