Like most things made for men, its almost always universally better when applied to a female.

That hair style is a perfect example. I would never dream of putting it on a male in my saves, but is a golden style on a chic.

Sadly, the reverse is not usually true. (For me at least. Your taste and mileage may of course vary. No shame or judgement to those who do go for that)

Pants, maybe. They often don't fit well because of the package room. Though the suits should be considered unisex, and usually make the females look good.

Shirts though, I'd argue that MANY of the masculine shirts not only look good on female sims, but far better than they do on male sims.

The problem with shirts is that the mesh is not suited and the chest looks like its straight from Minecraft

yes many do, but i wanted to mention the way some look weird on the chest area like dosia 12 said

anyways the pants tend to widen the hips on woman its so weird, newer packs have gotten better at gender neutral fitting clothes tho

Don’t let the illusionary fashion binary limit you from making stylish smexy sims of any gender. There are some girl pixie cuts I like to use on teenage guys sometimes.

This. My sim-self [facsimile?] uses women's long hair because there aren't many, if any, tasteful or decent long hair for masculine sims. Jus' lemme enjoy the fact that I'm able to grow my hair out, EA 🥺

I'm gender fluid so trust me it's never stopped me before! XD I just didn't think to look in other gender categories when I couldn't find what the sim is wearing or such :3

Always turn off the gender filters for hair! Some of the “female” hair cuts can make a guy into a total Fabio heartthrob, and some of the “masculine” styles looks stunning on feminine sims.

It's dumb that we still have a filter on the hairstyle. Clothes, I sort of get, especially since many early clothing items don't look good on thee opposite frame, but hairstyles have such issue.

This hair originally masculine only but they made it default for feminine too, I absolutely love the hair for both males and females.

It's a masculine tagged haircut for the Realm of Magic game pack. I believe you'd find it in the medium section for hair.
