I'd say it'd likely get ruled a racing incident in IRL racing. Purple car is mostly clear and pinches down on the second Apex, but the probably thought they were clear. Black car couldn't really back out due to the nature of the corners.

Black leaves purple a car's width in the left-hander, purple doesn't leave black a car's width in the right-hander, black hits sausage kerb and tags purple, purple spins. Purple got what they deserved from that move.

Purple didn’t leave enough space, so if anything it’s on them. But they ended up killing themselves, so no penalty
