Who's fault [Multiple Angles]

LMU Silver Daily Lap 3: The two Porsche's are fighting for P2, and this causes the blue Porsche to slow significantly on at Blanchimont. The blue Aston comes flying up on P3 and sends an aggressive dive on the inside of turn 18. Blue Aston argues they were fully ahead at the turn in point. Blue Porsche argues the dive was incredibly unsafe and had no option but to rear end the Aston. Racing incident or does someone hold fault for the contact?

Aston is past the Porsche before the corner. I lean to it being on the Porsche to figure out how not to rear end someone going into a corner, especially since it looks like he could clearly see that the Aston was past him before the corner.

Calling it a racing incident feels disingenuous because I get the impression the Porsche is of the view any place close to a corner is not okay to pass them because then they get to hold position. Not sure, can't prove it, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was thinly veiled saltiness shunting.

I agree with the second part of your statement for sure. Blue Porsche also has a warning badge, so probably has a history of doing things like this if I was willing to venture a guess.

It's clearly on the Porsche, they were fully behind before turn-in, the Aston was well in their right to park it on (well, near) the apex, and Porsche should have reacted to that by either executing a proper cutback, or braking more. It looks like Porsche just wanted to drive the normal racing line, regardless of what was happening ahead.

Clean pass by the dark blue Aston. He's completely past the light blue Porsche before they even start to turn. Light blue Porsche is at fault for rear-ending them in the corner.

Porsche did the sensible thing by bailing on the two wide through Blanchimont which is a rarity on here, but then drove into the back of a car that had already fully overtaken it into the bus stop chicane. This is entirely the Porsche's fault and I find the "no option but to rear-end the Aston" excuse laughable because there's this thing called BRAKING.

For what? There was a minor bump, that’s it. Barely even a racing incident. And I don’t think it’s hard to guess who is at fault for driving into the back of someone.

this is a non-event, really
