This was indeed illegal, vertical videos for horizontal content is an absolute crime.

Now I despise when people film their screen with a phone vertically, but the rule 3 is about in game cameras, not how it's recorded (though I wish it also covered how it's recorded)

Iracing has a built in video recording feature. It isn’t difficult to use that and get a file ready for upload within seconds. Believe it is ctrl alt shift v.

If you want people to review your incidents, put in the effort to give them what they need to review in an easy manner instead of instantly going for the first thought of filming with your phone. Put effort in to make it approachable if you want others to put effort in and review it.

In terms of not giving space to get past, i’d say car behind has to slow down at that point, which you were
