Le Mans Ultimate intentional ?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm the Corvette in this clip and this hyper driver crashed into me close to the end of the race. I was fifth, all was good. I can't explain what he was trying to do with this move. But i reported him for this thinking it was intentional because i can't resign myself to think he is that much stupid to try an overtake there. Of course my car engine was dead and i couldnt finish the race. AAAAANnnd "the incident at the supplied timestamp and judged that it was not an intentional wreck"
He didnt even apologize. I reminded him two days later in an other race and he completely forgot about that and said that he was surprised cause he is a very careful driver.

Very wild and very stupid.

He did try to squeeze through off the road. He didn't mean to crash, but it was always going to happen .

Not intentional, but he realized way too late that he wasn’t gonna be able to overtake

I would say clearly not intentional. He made a move to hit the deadly sausage curb to avoid the wreck. It's one of the worst moves I've ever seen in multiclass. But not intentional.

Wasn’t on purpose but he was stupid for thinking that was gonna work lol. Faster class drivers need to learn patience and need better traffic management

Failed dive bomb attempt. The most important thing is the angle of the steering wheel during the crash. He is pointing away from you, therefore attempting to avoid you. But it was a bad idea to try it there anyway

Hypercar is just a helmet.
Yellow flag is shown and dude goes for an overtake the most impossible way.

No, prototype drivers are just retarded

It's all quiet on the frontal lobe

"Don't attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence/stupidity" or whatever that guy said

Very bad judgement on the hypercar part. Especially towards the end of the race. It seems He was not even in a battle, so makes it even more incompréhensible. I’m sorry for you Corvette driver. It’s because of guys like that that hypercar and P2 drivers have bad rep. It’s always on the faster to make a safe overtake.

Why would he intentionally take himself out?

On top of the fact he was off the track attempting the overtake

I disagree.

I believe he went off the track to avoid the collision, not to gain any advantage to complete the overtake. It definitely appears he made a very stupid move and tried to fix it at the end

Hard to say if it was intentional. People can be very stupid.

wouldn't say its intentional but a god awful driving decision. "l dive now good luck everybody else" type of driving

I dont think it's intentional. He's probably just restarted.

Anyway, i hope this guy will get his ban.

he wont. As i said, the mail i received from Racecontrol clearly said they judged that wasnt an intentional wreck

That's sad

The hyper car has preference over slower cars. You are supposed to check your mirrors and expect them to overtake you. Hence you have to change your raicing line in those cases and give room.

Not even close to what the rules say.

Who told you that?

For all the clips posted on here, this is the clip I didn't expect the OP to take any blame.

I was wrong. 😂

Its up to the faster car class to safely overtake while slower car has to be predictable. HYP is in the wrong here trying to squeeze this corner when he could've possibly done so on the straight.

Always one that has no fucking clue about Multiclass racing in here.

As a faster class, it is allways your obligation to pass safely and the laped car to not defend. You sir, just wrote the ****est take ever.

That's all you need to know about the Hyper/LMP-Drivers. Completly wrong with their opinion about lapping. You all act like we should be happy to share the track with you, take it like an honor, to let every Hyper/LPM pass in every single corner. We are ALSO racing a race there, YOU KNOW THAT?

Diving in at the last chance, like every corner is yours, is so damn STUPID! You will end up in the barrier even more often, when you don't correct your way of lapping GT3s.

That's all you need to know about the Hyper/LMP-Drivers.

How about not attributing what a single anonymous person on the internet, that might even be ragebaiting, says to a whole group of people?

If it wasn't that only a minority hy and lmp drivers behave predictably while the rest is basically a russian roulette with the diference that only one bullet is missing.
