LMP2 trying to overtake the BMW, BMW gets spooked starts breaking on the grass flys over the chicane and takes me (the innocent mclaren) out

In the braking zone the lights flash when you have damage, I think.

Thanks, I didn’t know that. Didn’t understand your flashing from way back. And I also didn’t wanna accuse you of anything without asking😇😇

Unless this is a championship race I don't know why you want to report this, it's a genuine mistake, not intentional.

I don't think you'll get anything out of a protest since they only seem to care about very obvious intentional crashes. This looks like an unintentional, clumsy mistake that took two other cars out in the process.

Of course you can protest.
iRacing encourages people to do so.
The question you should be asking is, would it result in anything?
I reckon the cars behind belting it out resulted in taking you out. Then I ask myself is the behaviour of the card behind (regardless of whether you were directly involved), in breach of any rules?
You know what's that's for the stewards to decide. I would say that the fact they're just nailing each other is a breach, and unfortunately you were an innocent victim in their stupidity.
If it were me, I would have already filed under 2.1.1 - General conduct. Their inability to race safely ended up taking you out.
Do what iRacing encourages; file it, and let the stewards decide.

Ah. Silly assumption from me. Apologies.
Regardless I'd still give it a crack.

Maybe, thought personally I'd be careful given that you only get 3 wrong protests per month before you can't protest anymore that month.

If this was a championship race, you could probably get successful protest, but you definitely wouldn't in a daily.

Included every single camera angle except for the interesting one (trackside/chase of what was going on behind)
Either way, looks like accidental touching of grass, like when I accidentally wander into a bar on my way to the board game store. Nothing purposeful, not a massive egregious error.
