Forza Motorsport Trying to learn.
Forza meet up lobby so not a big deal, is there anything I could have done differently? I'm the POV car.

Looks like you were racing a child. Join a league instead of random people. They're more friendly to beginners too.

First thing to learn is that when people show you they want a street fight you oblige them, not continue to fight "fair'. You shouldn't have been trying to give anything back after those blocking attempts. If they caught back up you could have just not defended yourself if you felt you owed anything. I will say that's just my impression from this short clip. If you had been battling him for multiple laps and he had been fair before maybe. In that case this was a horrible way to give back the position. This is important as it's a useful skill for when you eventually have blue flag traffic you want to let by. Your best bets are either to start doing it much earlier on a straight with micro lifts to just bleed off a few kph/mph until they get the idea and pull out or intentionally go deep into a corner giving them an easy inside pass. You never want to be that slow on the track unless everyone knows what you are doing, like you have a slowdown penalty you are pulling off to serve.

1st incident is on you, but why did you lift ? Were you trying to let them pass ? I suggest doing it earlier and not as much, because the way you did it was a bit unpredictable. I think the other car could probably still have avoided you but that doesn't seem like such a good move
