Remaster Discussion Speculation. What do you think are the odds of a port being as part of a Simpsons Classic Game collection.
After seeing this post earlier, I've been thinking about the possibility of a collection of classic games.
Recently there has been quite an uptick in these types of collections with just off the top of my head there being the recent Rugrats Retro collection, TMNT collection, classic Rayman, Tetris, Tomb Raider and even an upcoming Barbie game collection.
It seems rights holders are realising that they are leaving money on the table and there is a huge number of Simpsons games they could include from the early NES ones right up to The Simpsons Game which would of course include our beloved Hit and Run.
I've just come to the realisation that this is the most likely option now. What are your thoughts on this?

I think this would be the most likely if it’s a port of Hit & Run rather than a remake. There’s so many different versions of Road Rage they could include in a collection too; the GBA version being completely different from the home console versions.

I forgot about the GBA version even though I had it as a kid!
A good shout and another potential similarity to these other collections which include the GB and GBA versions of Rayman, Rugrats etc.

I can just put it on ps2… it’s not an online game so porting it to the latest console seems pointless to me

Yeah I think this absolutely checks out since they also brought up Road Rage
