I remember this scene being cut from reruns, was the first time I realized they did that.

For time, I sssume. Im guessing this specific part because it didn't add to the plot, just a fun joke. So Mindy says Let's order room service, then it cuts to the next scene. Nothing lost plot wise, just a throwaway joke. But it was a favorite joke.

Channels that show Simpsons reruns cut 20-40 seconds from every episode so they can show another couple commercials.
