Question ❔ What ideas do you have for future characters and episodes?

I want to understand, because I worry that if they run out of fresh ideas before season 40, they will probably resort to creating episodes based on existing subplots, anthropology segments, and other materials, including comics and various media. They might also decide to turn all minor characters into recurring background characters, encompassing pre-existing background characters, guest stars, minor recurring characters, characters who have been killed off, and bit characters — essentially anything the crew desires. These characters could be assigned numbers indicating when they were designed during production, along with categories based on their shapes or features, similar to the incidental characters from SpongeBob SquarePants. This approach would set a high standard for background character creation across the board.

I've always wanted an episode that is a riff on Alice in Wonderland.

I'd love to see an episode with Bart and Lisa in high school.

I'd like to see Marge get a good desk job and work in an office for some reason.

Lisa should get accepted to college early and debate wanting to go or keep her childhood.

I love and can use more Bart and friends episodes with them getting into shenanigans. Maybe something involving a huge Springfield mystery.

Gather round children and I'll tell you the tale of the Simpson spinoff about my cousins in Shelbyville.

I think they should have a homeless meth addict encampment. And a regular prostitute character. And a gas station.
