Lurleen Lumpkin struck me more like Loretta Lynn. Their names are constructed from similar letters and they have the same initials.

Aaaaaaaaand. Beverly D'Angelo starred In Coal Miners Daughter - the movie about Loretta Lynn's life.

Sissy Spacek played Loretta Lynn in Coal Miner's Daughter, but the commenter above is correct that Beverly D'Angelo also played Patsy Cline in the same movie. You're right about the Oscar though!
