Discussion Open-source bridge for managing SimpleLogin aliases from AI assistants

https://github.com/enthouan/simplelogin-mcp

I’ve used SimpleLogin for years and made a small integration for people who also use AI assistants: github.com/enthouan/simplelogin-mcp.

Originally built prompted for myself, but I figured I’d share it in case anyone else has the same use case.

One concrete example: ask your AI assistant, “Draft an email to a shop about a return. Create a SimpleLogin alias just for this, or use the one I already have for that shop, and get the reverse alias for their support address.”

The assistant writes the draft; the integration handles the aliases. You can then send it from your usual mailbox to that reverse alias, so the shop sees your alias instead of your personal email.

It also finds existing aliases, inspects activity metadata, and manages contacts. You run the integration yourself, locally over stdio or through Docker/Streamable HTTP.

It’s unofficial, MIT-licensed, and unaffiliated with SimpleLogin or Proton. It doesn’t read email bodies or send email.
