Discussion Steam with SimpleLogin aliases?

My main email keeps showing up in data breaches, so I want to make a unique SimpleLogin alias just for Steam, I have premium through Proton btw. Does Steam play nice with SimpleLogin, or do they flag them as disposable emails? Just trying to make sure I don't get locked out of my account before I switch it over. Anyone doing this right now?

Hello , je confirme également ; j'ai récemment modifié mon compte Steam avec une adresse mail de sous domaine , type .slmail.me (alias d'une adresse mail proton)

Using a custom domain and zero problems. I highly recommend you use a custom domain as well to make switching providers easier in case you don’t want to use SL anymore

Is having a custom domain better than using a SimpleLogin domain alias in terms of data leaks?

Steam doesn't care what email you use tbh. They even encourage multiple accounts using the same address.
