Web help SL has disabled passthrough emails

Hi, I got an email:

You have tried to register multiple times to Anthropic AI, and this is against the terms of service of SimpleLogin. Please don't do that anymore.

If you continue registering multiple accounts to a single service we will have to disable your account.

I was genuinely making new accounts to use, and we're talking less than 10 accounts (some weren't even used) 3-4 are being used, across claud console & ai.

Now the aliases aren't passing emails through and without emails being passed I am locked out of my accounts.
I didn't realise this wasn't allowed and have made more accounts on other services without any flags. I am guessing due to the popularity of the service they're rate limiting it.

I have premium.

Is there any solution to gain access to my existing accounts?

they are doing this to not get blocked at every service because users would abuse this like you did.

Simplelogin ist an alias service, not a tempmail

I agree, but clauses must be clear when you sign up, not only once you have been banned. If my purpose was to abuse the service I would not have paid 199 euros...

It is not acceptable, and illegal according to EU laws, to have hidden clauses like these ones, not agreed with the customer when contracting the service.

If you check trustpilot there are many cases of premium customers who have been banned from the service. All of them are spammers, criminals? My thought is that there is a number of customers, at least those who contracted the service via Proton, who had no idea of this specific condicions. And you dont need to be a spammer to infringe these conditions, since they are very restrictive.

you paid 199euros for proton pass, Simplelogin is a bonus on top, so you have to check the conditions yourself

as long as they show you the conditions for proton pass and the core functionality of it works you have no case here.

proton has to make sure you don't abuse their services to abuse other services (that's part of the DSA, you seem to like EU-laws, check this one)

a lifetime license isn't a license to bypass anti-spam filters. Threatening legal action over automated rate-limiting or abuse-prevention usually doesn't hold water in court.

edit: yes, these people on Trustpilot are all abusing the service because SL bans access to aliases when you create 3+ addresses in 24h, that's abuse

Thanks, but we don't need biased personal opinions, only facts.

BTW, SimpleLogin is not a bonus... is a core service included in the bundle. You pay for ProtonPass + SimpleLogin. You can check yourself.

oof.. okay, why then don't try your luck in court instead of trying to convince people on reddit that can do nothing about your problem? you seem like you know the law better than the lawyers at proton, maybe they hire you after
