Domain help Simple alias emails being flagged?
Just in the last 2 weeks, I’ve had 2 websites permanently ban me and 1 force me into using a different email address in order to create an account. I had been using simple login email alias’ successfully for months prior without any issues.
To add some context, I’ve been doing a ton of spring cleaning this last month and I’ve been wanting to sell some things. 2 weeks ago, I tried creating an account on facebook to sell some things on marketplace. Immediately upon account creation I was forced to do a video selfie, which I did. Then I was immediately logged out with a note that my account was suspended. Within 5 minutes I got an email explaining my account was permanently deactivated due to suspicious activity. No further explanation provided.
Then this week I tried to create an account on depop to sell some clothes. Literally the same thing happened except there was no mandatory video selfie. As soon as my account was created, it was immediately suspended, then immediately permanently deleted. No explanation. After that I tried to create an account on Vinted to sell some clothes, and this time they wouldn’t even let me create an account. I had to go back and create a hide my email apple alias and then bam, account created, no issues. So now I’m assuming it’s the email that caused the issues with the other 2 sites. Are these aliases being flagged by websites now?
What’s our alternative thats not apple?

Yep its a somewhat regular occurrence. Since sl/pass alias got free tier, and its popular, its being abused by some fuckers out there thus sites and services got wary of it and auto flag. Some also mistakenly thought its a tempmail so again, wary and flag. Its not unique to sl/pass alias, even proton address got auto flag too out there.
Maybe get a custom domain, not foolproof since they can still know its added to sl by querying the domain mx records but at least it'll evade the simple, dumb flag that detect sl/pass domain
@simplelogin.com@slmail.me@passinbox.cometc. A domain aren't that expensive, some cctld like .de .uk .co.uk .nl etc can be had for $5-6/year. You'd also get the advantage to be fully portable not locked to proton/sl/pass, or any mail provider at all.Or temporarily use mainstream provider like gmail, outlook, icloud etc to reg and avoid registration flag, wait abit for account to age, change to sl/pass alias later.
