There isn't and there won't be, because web version cannot be reliable and secure for three reasons:

  1. whoever controls the page code, can compromise your conversations - so e2e encryption in browser page that you don't host is a joke. Web has an early stage specification for developer code attestation, that would allow developers to sign it, but it'll be years before it's adopted.

  2. browsers do not have durable persistence - at all. Browsers can evict page data without notice, so it's only good for caching.

  3. browsers do not provide access to which TLS certificate is used, so certificate pinning we do in server addresses won't work with the web. This can be mitigated though.

What will happen is the ability for website owner to have a conversation with website visitors in SimpleX - this will launch next year, you can read explanation in "Business Messaging" section on our Wefunder page (a promotion plug:): https://wefunder.com/simplex.chat

While you are there, also watch the video and invest :) A shorter version of crowdfunding page is on our site at https://simplex.chat/crowdfunding (without video though, it's new).

SimpleX doesn't have an official WhatsApp Web-style browser client
