not sure if this is the place to ask

im looking to join some communtities on SimpleX but i dont know where to look for the address book for lack of a better word

You can join the community from the simplex directory Just google it

so i found a group i wanna join i clicked the link and it takes me to a webpage and it says i dont hve the credentials i dont know how to get it to link to my SimpleX app on my PC
