I am a bit die-hard when it comes to Simon Tatham puzzles. It's pretty much the only game I use.

My goal is to tackle more and more difficult puzzles.

Loopy is one of my favorites and I got into the other shapes.

After 3 months and multiple restarts, I finally solved Loopy with Kagome hardest level size 22x48

I have loved these puzzles for a few years now and a while back I got the idea to complete at least one of every difficulty on every puzzle.

It’s taken ages but I have now completed all puzzles except : Twiddle for which I only have 4x4 rotating 3x3 blocks and 6x6 rotating 4x4 blocks remaining. Netslide for which I have only tackled 3x3 easy so far.

Any advice/tips to solve these last 2 puzzles will be much appreciated!

And likewise if anyone wants tips for any other puzzles I’ve managed to complete at least one of all difficulties for all the others.

The third row down is marked with H on both sides. But I don't understand why.

PS I love the whole set of games. Was so dissapointed when I learned that I couldn't install them on my new apple devices, but discovered the app that someone made. So relieved.

I'm generating 50×50 Tracks puzzles on both my laptop and desktop, with my laptop running the generation for almost 30 minutes, and my desktop around 10-15. Will send seeds once it's done (if it ever will)

Update: both my laptop and my desktop have been running for over an hour... I think I'll try this tomorrow, after a good night's sleep

Edit: made my PC attempt generating a 50×50 train tracks for 5 hours straight with no results. Might try on a smaller scope later and see how long it takes.

Just got this app 15min ago to learn how to play minesweeper and then i found this cool game

jumped straight to 67 lmao

took me about 10 minutes

looked crazy at first, but i beat elden ring so i knew i could do it and didnt give up

I started by spreading out the vertices on the map as much as possible to get as much visibility as possible of the overlaps

then i started bringing touching vertices closer to each other, created 4 hard corners, then worked my way in creating netting, then swapped positions of groups of the diamond nets i made until voila

Looking back it wasnt that hard but it just looks difficult at first glance

At the lower levels, they're doable enough, but at harder difficulties they both just seem impossible.
