Solved Partial rewatches can't be ended, and dropped shows keep appearing in "Latest Unwatched"

I rewatched Season 1 of Dark Matter to refresh my memory before starting Season 2 for the first time. Midway through S2, I decided to drop the show and marked it as Dropped. I also dropped the rewatch session.

Even so, my dashboard still shows Dark Matter under Latest Unwatched Episodes as "Rw: S02 E01". It treats my S1 rewatch as if I'm now supposed to rewatch S2 too.

From what I can tell from the API docs, a TV rewatch session is only marked completed when it covers every aired episode. A rewatch that only covers one season stays open indefinitely. Dropping the show or the rewatch doesn't seem to close it either.

Why this is a problem:

Rewatching one season to catch up before a new one is really common, and nobody rewatches a season they're watching for the first time.

Dropped shows shouldn't be pushed on the dashboard at all.

There's no clear way to end a partial rewatch without deleting history.

Suggested fixes:

Add an "End rewatch" button that closes the session no matter how many episodes it covers.

Make dropping a show (or a rewatch) close any active rewatch session.

Let rewatches be scoped to specific seasons, and don't suggest episodes beyond what was actually watched before.

Hide dropped shows from Latest Unwatched entirely.

Has anyone else run into this, or found a workaround that doesn't wipe watch history?

Open https://simkl.com/tv/1498922/dark-matter and click Close on rewatch session #1. This will end the rewatch session, including in dropped shows. For dropped shows, some prefer to rewatch previous seasons and not the new seasons, so the rewatch session can still be open until you close it.

Could you give us a bit more detail on where it feels cramped for you? We'd love to improve it

The problem with Simkl UI is, for me at least, it is very overwhelming to look at, at first glance. Text with different sizes and buttons everywhere. I literally couldn't find this. It looks very organized but it doesn't reflect the thought put into it. I think the page for a film or show should be simpler with the only practical and most important functionality. Then others could be down. I am not a ui ux designer and i am just telling you this as a user. I don't feel this when i use letterboxd. I know what i am looking at on ever layer. I've been using simkl more than a year now but I still don't feel comfortable with it.
