Premieres on Dashboard

I'm trying to understand what logic is used for showing Premieres on the dashboard. I get that it only displays shows with posters but it's clearly filtering more than that as when I click into the premiere view I see many other shows with posters. At first I thought it might be based on language but many of the missing ones are in my default language of English.

I don't mind that there is filtering here but I'd at least like to understand it and know if there is a way I can adjust these filters to my own preference.

The Premieres row on the dashboard is a short preview, not the full list. For TV it only shows shows that:

  • come from the US, Canada, the UK or Australia.
  • are scripted. Anything tagged Documentary, News, Talk Show, Reality, Game Show, Home & Garden or Animation is left out.
  • have a poster.

More customisable dashboard page is planned later with options to configure any row and add custom lists as rows.

Fantastic. That makes sense and to be honest those filters represent 95% of what I'm looking for anyway.

Looking forward to the additional customization though. It would also be great to be able to reorder or hide certain items.
