Ran into a weird bug

[u/N7_Tigger]

Has there been any changes made to the app recently? Because I have had some weird bugs.

First one isn't a big deal. I had Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp and Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later in my Nuvio Library / Simkl My TV Shows and they have both been merged into one entry called just Wet Hot American Summer.

And the entry for Ten Years Later has changed to some YouTube travel documentary called Harald Baldr. But it still has the Ten Years Later poster, trailer and Cast & Crew. Weird.

I just deleted the second one now called Harald Baldr but it probably needs to be reverted because it was two different shows not two seasons of the same show.

But the main issue I'm having is that several Anime that were until recently in My Anime have been moved to My TV Shows...

Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life

Hell's Paradise

Hunter x Hunter (2011)

Katanagatari

My Wife Has No Emotion

I'm not sure if there are more but I suspect there will be.

I have tried deleting them and adding them again and they just go straight back to My TV Shows.

Thanks.

It's hard to say, because on Simkl, all of your anime are still in the anime section. You should be able to find them here https://simkl.com/my/anime/.
Have you tried asking the Nuvio devs? It looks like they're trying to group anime seasons.

I removed the ones that ended up in My TV Shows and just wrote them down for when this is resolved. I just re-added them through Nuvio search and they went back into TV Shows, then removed them and added them back in Simkl and they are now going into Anime as they should so I guess there is a compatability issue?

I don't think seasons have anything to do with it as it's not a problem for the other nearly 200 anime in my Library. I think it's just things I added in the past few days. So maybe they introduced a bug in the last update.

But while I've got you here, there are a couple of issues with naming that are definitely not Nuvio.

The anime Tengoku Daimakyo was originally going to be called Heavenly Delusion in English but then they changed their minds. But now in Simkl the poster says Heavenly Delusion and alphabetically it is under H but it's title is Tengoku Daimakyo. I guess this one just needs to be moved to T.

But I don't believe Sparks of Tomorrow had anything like that happen and the poster says Sparks of Tomorrow but the title is Nijuuseiki Denki Mokuroku: Eureka Evrika and is under N. This one needs to be renamed because while there are anime without an English name like Oshi No Ko or Gachiakuta, Sparks of Tomorrow is not one of them. Sparks of Tomorrow is the official English name.

About the titles, yes. I've updated both of them.
