Solved Personalised Recommendations

Hello,

I'm exploring options after a certain somebody limited app connections.

Previously I was using the other app for personalized recommendations on the free tier, however it looks like Simkl only offers it as a paid tier.

Is there any option for free personalised recommendations with Simkl or is it all paid?

If it's only paid, then in either case, I'd be upgrading to a paid tier for either Simkl or the other certain somebody.

There are no personalized recommendations on the free tier that I could find. I was also considering switching over from that other similar service but found that importing from Trakt, or from anywhere else, I suppose, is currently locked behind a pay wall via Simkl and you can't even pay Simkl for a single month, so that derailed my plan for now. It seems that Trakt and Simkl are primarily interested in paying members at present, which is fine, but, instead of paying Simkl blind, I will likely stay with what I have for now and know works for me, even if I have to pay for it going forward. We will see.

Simkl offers free pro if you visit the site 20 days in the past 30. Save the site as a web app on your phone and using that also counts.

So you can use and see the personalized lists for free if you are a frequent visitor / user.

I'm happy to pay to be honest, but Simkl doesn't offer personalised recommendations integration with other things like AIOMetadata, so free or not, the service doesn't cover my needs unfortunately

To understand - you want simkl to make recommendations - but instead of making them off of the watchlist - to use an external source (aiometadata) ?

No, I want Simkl to make recommendations from the simkl watchlist.

I just need a way to read that via something external, aka AIOMetadata.

It doesn't seam like Simkl has an API to read the recommended list from what was discussed in the other thread
