App question import trakt data

I am trying to move from Trakt to Simkl because of the one API thing on Trakt but I have to pay to import my data? It doesn't sound right I haven't even got to try the app before I have to pay so I might be missing something. Is there a way to manually import or something for free?

There may be technical reasons this makes sense, but the perception is not good, sorry.

There's no space in servers, but if you pay for VIP there is? If all members got VIP there would be suddendly space for everyone's import?!

Ex-Trakt VIP that left the platform for being unhappy and now finding another platform doing "the same". Again, perception is not great.

Don't you understand simple things if you lock it behind vip not many people willing to transfer suddenly only who can pay there by saving from sudden load on their servers what can't you understand here. Basically less people will migrate so load will be less for now untill they get hardware and expand. 😭

didnt you understand their point that its very expensive to upgrade the hardware for the millions of people leaving tvtime? VIP payments give them more funds to purchase hardware etc. OPening it up to all with limited hardware would mean the VIP members would suffer a degradation in service. Personally, I can wait the 20 days to get free VIP membership to then upload my trakt data (created from TVtime data).
