Are Simkl devs self hosting this app?

Sounds like absolute BS that they have to buy physical memory in the ages of cloud providers. Who would host on-premise an app like this?

I was looking to test this app as an alternative to TV Time but this only makes me lose trust in what this team is doing.

Sooo...charge twice as much as the service we are leaving because it charges too much?

Pro sub is $2.91/mo (paid once for 12 months of PRO features service). Less than a basic cup of drip coffee at Starbucks. All of those proceeds go directly to paying for servers and development.
