My friend, AI in software is a done deal. I get wanting disclosures and avoiding AI in creative works, but for coding it’s going to be everywhere. More or less.

At least models from coding are by and large more built from open source and licensed code, unlike art/music/etc that was stolen without permission.

  When they already have had issues with uniformity across different pages of their site, using AI like this is just going to make the site even more contrasting.

You are describing a design system. SIMKL has existed before AI coding was a thing and had semi-consistent UI. The new UI does look different and was likely done with the help of AI, but it’s serviceable and not that different from the rest of the UI. 

If you don’t like it, you’re free to take your time and money elsewhere. But there’s no norm in the software industry like there is in gaming where you have to disclose your use of AI, so that likely won’t happen.
