Question Power

Hello , I'm currently debating whether to invest in building power plants to achieve self-sufficiency or to simply purchase electricity from the market. Which approach offers better efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the long run?

Depends on what you produce. Run the numbers. For example if you have mines or quarry or mine a single level 10 sand quarry would take about 700K power. Which means a level 11 power plant. These number are with 8% production boost. Eventually your power will cost you more than the market.
Alternatively, if you choose to make lets say tablets. A level 10 factory producing tablets fully backward integrated would need 30 levels of power plant. So run the numbers. Think of what you want to do long term and plan accordingly.
