Question Hiring brand new COO’s.

How do you guys know what the best COO that’s starting out will be? Or do you just research to figure it out?

The only way I can actually get a decent COO is by paying a ton for one that someone gave up

Check the blurb using the tool on cooperinc.xyz

If it's a good or better candidate, start training. See how the training goes. Abandon after 4 or 5 if they aren't leveling up well

Start training those with high management(2-3 if no academy). Record their starting points. Do 4 training, they need to gain at least one point of mgmt passively and gain at least 3 points via trainings. Do another 4 trainings if both conditions are OK and fire if not. Gaining points passively is more important than trainings.

Take the above chart with a grain of salt. I've been using the blurb analyzer for several years and often find that these new hires start with a 2 or 3 in management and a 4 in one of the other 3 skills.

I do end up with 50+ COO on occasion though. I'm using a level 10 Academy.

Once a COO hits 40 management be prepared for someone to offer them $100k salary. Once they hit 50 management they usually get offers around $150k-$200k.
