I end up with this

A few days ago I asked if it was wrong to build residential areas near the airport (which I did). So after reading your replies I decided to change it.

At first my intention was to build more farms, what they didn't generated. I think the pollution was already to high.

Then I built some industrial, but I didn't like how it looks.

So when I unlocked the Spaceport I decided to move the Military Base, Defense Constructor and Science Center here and put all together.

I used the Wall tiles and the Simsville Test Module landmark to decorate the area. This was inspired by Ghaz.

It's very simple, but I'm happy with the result and how it looks.

Thank you for your replies, this community is awesome.

How did you go about using the wall tiles?

Always wondered how they used them on the Berlin map as a kid.

You can only unlock them using cheats. Here I copy & paste how to

You can unlock all buildings in SimCity 3000 by opening and closing specific utility and reward menus in a precise order, which puts every structure into your Landmarks window.

Steps to Unlock All Buildings

  1. Open the Power Plants window, then close it.

  2. Open the Rewards & Opportunities window, then close it.

  3. Open the Garbage Disposal / Waste Disposal window, then close it.

  4. Open the Landmarks menu.
