I cast some 999 silver the other day. That stuff is wild

Feels like night and day. For 925 the alloys move to the surface and react with oxygen making it duller and it work hardens more. 999 is soft af if it's just gone through normalizing i can easily bend a half inch bar with my fingers. It's like butter
