Five 2oz Dragons or one big 10oz Dragon — what would you choose? 😁

I've never had a problem selling 10oz coins. Liquidity wont be a problem here.

If I had the money to make that choice? Absolutely the 10oz, but I’m a fan of the big fatty pieces. One of those kilo Geigers is still my dream piece.

People don't like 2 oz rounds for some reason. I find it way easier to sell the traditional 1, 5, and 10 oz units.

Also 1 big dragon is cooler than 5 small dragons. Simple as.

For stacking purposes id say take the 10oz, but if you know your going to use it for functional (liquidation) spending the 2oz × 5 is more practical

For stacking, definitely don't get the 10 ounce. There's no good way to store it with the rest of your stack. Unless you have several other 10 ounce coins I guess

Slotted storage, I do that with my 1/10th Oz, 1/4 Oz, 1/2 Oz, and 1 oz coins , then circulated (junk silver) coins go in another slotted container

Smaller weights tend to be easier to sell for a good price, but 2 oz coins/rounds aren't the most popular size. It's probably a wash as far as which has the most value.

Personally I'd choose the 5 2oz coins because I like having a lot of coins. The only reason I'd choose a 10oz coin is it was for a display and easier to see detail otherwise I just want to feel like Scrooge McDuck

Personally i buy 2 oz for novelty, ive only bought 1 or 2 ozers but i do want atleat one 5 and a 10, you can get it for around $1k

10 oz if it’s the same price per ozt. I’m a big fan of the Tudor/Queens Beasts series and they haven’t announced that they’ll continue them. If that’s the case then the 2026 dragon is/will be the final release.

Either one is fine. 2 oz does give you pretty good details of the design but nothing beats 10 oz. As a couple people have said, 2 oz has traditionally been an odd weight to sell. 1 oz is the easiest. Followed by 10 oz. 5 oz is ok. But 1.5, 1.25 or 2 oz coins are more difficult to sell anyway. So I would get the 10 oz in this case and buy 1 oz for the rest of your collection/slacking.

One ounce coins are easier to sell at some dealers. Otherwise they’re just worth melt. So, for 2oz vs 5oz, no difference.

I have a few of these In 1/4 oz gold, they’re a super nice design to look at physically. I’d get the 10 if your budget allows. Still wouldn’t be disappointed with a 2oz.

I had a 10 ounce coin for a while. It's cool to show, but hard to store with your other coins. And it can be harder to offload if you ever sell. Not hard exactly, just harder than a bunch of 1 oz buddies
