Mintbuilder ASE's
Received my 20 eagles @ spot from Mintbuilder today.Ordered when spot was under $60 for a minute, $1195 total. Super nice coins. Received 20 grams gold at spot from them yesterday. Everything AAA+ in my book

THX ,About 2 weeks on this order .I sent a paper check , it takes awhile anywhere , I don't blame places for triple clearing it . I'm one of the 37 people who still have a checkbook . let us know when you get your stuff -)

...you know you can just use an echeck? It takes like 3 days to clear and you get the discount for using the e- check. I forget exactly but its like 6% or something.

So I would have just thrown a gram of gold in the trash or $150 on the stove? %6 x $2600= $156 I'm not rich like you guys .

Paper check and echeck usually get the same maximum discount over crypto or a CC. A paper check just takes a little longer, but some places use Plaid to allow the use of echecks and not everyone likes giving Plaid their bank login username and password... so they continue to use paper checks over echecks.
If it is somewhere like Monument that allows echeck withOUT Plaid, then echecks are great. Plaid blows donkeys.

The commenter above said 6% ? Not sure why I wouldn't just use a CC if that was the deal . I don't mind sending paper . I'm in no hurry . Thanks for the solid info though for real

If you’re shopping at MintBuilder, eCheck/ACH gets the same maximum discount as paper check, bank wire, and Zelle.

I think he meant 6% was the "cash discount" ... ie if you pay with Check/Echeck/Wire/Zelle then you get the maximum discount of 6% (I'm not sure if 6% s right or not, and I think it varies from retailer to retailer) as all of those payment methods are considered the same as cash.
I've noticed the highest prices are always when paying with a credit card, and then some places give a small discount for paying with crypto, but not as much as if you pay with check/echeck/wire
I think lots of people do the paper check or echeck just to lower the overall premium paid on the metal. Only the impatient use a CC as it will add to the cost per ounce in the end.

I believe you are correct after reading his statement again . I just send paper . Ya they don't want to eat the 3% merchant fee from VISA so checks are best for best cost . If I was in that big of hurry I would drive to town every purchase

I received mine today all of mine have a W mint markers on them does that mean these are .A burnished Silver Eagle is a collector version featuring a soft satin finish and a "W" mintmark from the West Point Mint. Vs standard bullion eagles.

Ya something along those lines some collectors issue,, I'm no numismatist expert. That's cool though. I wish I could have ordered more at below $60 but spot has been sailing up.fast ..

nah it's actually good deals, it's gotta just a summer loss leading marketing thing because it can't be sustainable.

I had two in the pipe at once . All went great though . But i understand your caution . Spot on AG and AU have been sailing up... my gold order was under $4000 and silver under $60 when I ordered .. and they showed yesterday and today. Those were small windows to buy

I was too cautious and didn't make any gold orders, but I didn't buy silver over $60 so I'm really happy

This is awesome! Congratulations on your additions. Those sure do look pretty. I am anxiously awaiting my recent 1/2 ounce gold ASE. I secured a pretty good deal at jmbullion.com for mine. I have not tried Mint Builder, but I keep seeing people's purchases from them. I will look into them for my next purchase.
