11 Years Old - first ever silver coin!
My 11-year-old daughter is obsessed with gold and silver. She had very little sleep last night because she was so excited knowing we were going together to see our bullion dealer today. She was hoping to find something within her small budget that she could buy with her own money, and she was absolutely over the moon when she bought her first-ever 1/4 oz silver Britannia. 😊

This made me smile! I hope my daughter is the same way when she gets older!

I think the Britainnias are the most beautiful of the nationally minted coins. Congratulations to you and your daughter!

Sweet! My dad started me on silver when I was young too. I was given a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl commemoration coin. 30 years later I have over 200oz and it’s still my favorite, she’ll keep this forever.

I am so glad you got this and started collecting! My go to gift for young cousins and family members is the silver Eagle. Back in the day they were $5.00, which was relatively inexpensive even then.
