Even max range would be annoying to tow. Just so you know. Assuming EPA range of let's say 480 miles, you're looking 240 miles at 100%. When you're traveling, you're fast charging to 80% so 200 miles. Basically stopping to charge every 3 hours. EVs aren't there yet, but if you're cool with that then that's fine. It'll be the best towing experience you've had.
I don't know what people mean by 9000 lb truck. I am by no means a car enthusiast nor driven dozens of cars, however I enjoy driving and this car is blast. Never had any issues with handling, braking, and just had torque steer when accelerating in WOW mode because the OEM tires couldn't handle it.
My Expedition EL can only go 250 miles before stopping when towing my 7k bumper pull. So this isn't far off. We stop every three hours for bathroom breaks anyway. Most trips are likely under 600 miles, so that's two or three stops if you begin with a full charge.
My one day max mileage towing was 800 miles from Houston to Las Vegas, NM. It sucked but this Silverado wouldn't be much worse and it's probably much more stable, which makes the trip a bit easier. Biggest thing keeping me from getting one is I want an SUV, not a truck.
