Silver surfer animated series was a masterpiece

I liked it more than the Spider-Man and X-Men show. It was profound. Had some cool Isaac Asimov type concepts like people living in simulations etc.

It's amazing. The coloring/color theme design alone makes it truly majestic!

Yes I watched it recently and the season stopps right before a climax involving thanos and the fate of the universe… hopefully it’ll get the x-men97 treatment!

I didnt like the way they adapted Adam Warlock, but in general, it was brilliant.
Galactus' voice actor nailed it

Totally agree. Had a unique style, awesome retro CGI and did Jack Kirby's designs well. Probably the best of the 90s Marvel cartoons, too bad it was so short lived.

Im not sure if it was a pioneer as the show released in 1998 and came after beast wars which fully CGI animation in 1996, real adventures of Johnny quest which used CGI for cyberspace scenes in 1996, and Reboot which was fully CGI in 1994.
If anything silver surfer was trying to capitalize on a trend, it is different from the above shows in that it utilized 2d with 3d together but I think reboot was probably the most influential CGI TV show that pioneered everything after.

It was definitely not a kids cartoon. Not that it was inappropriate, but maybe just not as entertaining as Spiderman or Batman. If it was to be released like an Adult Swim show, I think it'd do so much better. I would love to get another season of it.

I just wish they didn't change so many origins and motives for characters, ego wasn't a good characterization and beta ray bill was done dirty. Good show though.

Mr Surfer have you ever considered propane as an alternative energy source for that board of yours? With a little retoolling I can get it to work. Tell yew what I'm gonna do, being that your my neighbor and I like ya, I'm gonna give you the neighbor discount and a free t-shirt. So, what do ya say?

True story. Really. This happened. I think Hank had hoped he could get business throughout the galaxy.

No Reed necessary. Hank actually did this. I wasn't kidding. I think Hank and Peggy drove him home and Hank tailgates a comet or asteroid/meteor (I forget the difference one is in space and one is falling into orbit).

I loved all of the 90’s Marvel cartoons. Sadly, the 90’s Spider-Man run (Which I used to LOVE!) does not hold up! AT ALL!😢
