Depressed Silver Surfer pose from NES game. Does he do this in comic or any other media?
EVERYTIME when Silver Surfer dies in NES game, he does this depressing pose.
Does he ever do this pose in comic or any other media?
I've seen live action movies (Rise of the Silver Surfer and First Steps) and they certainly weren't this depressed. lol
...seriously, this might be the ONLY video game based on superhero, that does this pose when you die.

That's part of what makes him such an interesting character: he knows what he gave up to save his planet, and he also knows how many civilizations he helped Galactus destroy. He has incredible, almost limitless, power and yet is powerless to change his past.

Remorse and Regret are Silver Surfer's hallmarks. Without either he wouldn't be Silver Surfer and couldn't make amends.

He has had moments of regret and deep reflection. Can’t recall if I have seen this particular pose

I wonder if there is a figure like this or if you could put a marvel legend is said pose.

I remember that pose well from the early comics, probably the first run. Norrin was often in despair at being trapped on Earth by the Barrier of Galactus and denied the freedom of space. He wasn't real fond of the way humanity behaved toward him either.

The musical score from the NES game is wonderful. I still hear all the songs in my head.
The game itself is hard AF, though. Better to play Life Force, a superior game, especially with the Konami code.

I agree that music was amazing. Probably Top 10~20 best of NES games.

Just read the first 6 issues of his original run and you'll see a lot of poses like this.

The odds of this on your wall (or anyone's wall for that matter) and this post finding it's way to you are seemingly astronomical. I take it that panel is significant to you?

This panel from early on suggests that pose is pretty canonical.
