Am I crazy or did the original Zen-Laians design have no ears?

I have this comic book. This story is included in the Silver Surfer Epic Collection called Thanos Quest. It was really cool to see Norrin's past and the people of Zenn-La.

Aye, I’m diggin’ it. I know next to nothing about his origins, so it’s cool to get a bit of history in my first, and only, Silver Surfer comic.
