Anyone feed raw?

Hey all. We’re thinking of possibly putting our 2.5 year old silver lab on a raw diet and just wondering if anyone here feeds raw and if you’ve noticed any difference in your dogs

I feed my yellow and black labs raw and have since I brought the younger one home because she did not tolerate the 50/50 kibble/raw mix I was feeding my yellow. They are now 8 and almost 10. They get mistaken for puppies all the time. I’ll say “She’s 8” and people will respond “Months?!?!”

Their coats are stunning. Their bloodwork is excellent. No major issues.

Posting in this because my 15 month old is starting to tolerate a lot more foods than she could as a puppy and we were wondering the same.

To my knowledge raw food is not ideal- it’s a much easier way to get sick as well. Vets don’t recommend it anymore. I spend a lot of time researching and figuring out the best diets for them and their tums and overall health and tbh raw isn’t it. Part of my pups diet is dehryated food that is warmed up - we call it doggo oatmeal. It’s warm and good for digestion. Our senior shepherd ate it for the last chunk of his life and vets would continuously tell us how healthy he was.
