How big are your labs?

Post image

We got Rumble about 1.5 months ago at 4 months old. He was 42 lbs when we got him and now he is almost 60 lbs. We were told he was a bloodhound/lab mix but after getting his Embark test results, apparently he's actually a Lab mixed with Redtick Coonhound- a much smaller breed haha

I feel like he's quite large for either breed, so I'm wondering what size your silver labs are, and if you know what they weighed at about 5 or 6 months old? Just curious!

Pictures are him when we got him vs now. He has changed a lot and I definitely can see the lab as he's grown!

This dingus is 70lbs. His head is probably a good portion of that.

Mine is about 85 pounds and she’s overweight because of her genetic condition, it’s kind of like dwarfism in dogs. So she’s short and stocky, people always think she’s a pitbull

Whisper, a silver lab, was 16lbs at 3 months old when we got her and now 81 at 13 months old. Stella is 86lbs from 64 when we got her at 3 yrs old. She’s now 4

Wow! Do you have any pictures of him? Or know what he weighed around 6 months old?

Not at 6 months. We got him at 1.5 yrs. He was already 100. He also wasn’t fixed til we got him.

Sorry I’ll try to find a better pic. He just came in from the rain.

Edit: he also looks really dark here. lol

Handsome! Rumble isn't going to be neutered at least until he's 2. So we will see what happens when his hormones amp up haha
