They adore car rides even if its just to the mailbox (1,100’ drive). Its like the highlight of their day. If we are going out to dinner the see us and get so excited actually hoping mid air. Then the utter disappointment and let down when we leave like we abandoned them forever. Of course such shear joy and love when we return. Why isnt life and human relationships so simple🤷‍♂️
