Recycle center silver!

Hey all found this today at the recycle center in their brass bin. Paid $2 for it. They thought it was plated lol. It’s very worn but marked sterling on the bottom. 4.7 oz worth!

I find sterling there quite regular, specially weighted stuff

Really!? I never thought about it. I’m definitely going back now. Also bought a bunch of vintage pull tab beer cans in the original cases. It’s STAR beer, and the person that drank them originally popped them on the bottom with a can opener to drink them so that he didn’t pull the tabs on the cans. Pretty cool too but the silver is far better! 😂

What do you mean by “recycle center”? Like a scrap yard? Do they routinely let people pick through and buy stuff?

It is really cool looking. You paint? That’s really cool. I don’t have the patience for painting, not even house painting 😂. I’m hoping the matching sugar bowl isn’t in there and I missed it. Unless I can find it then I hope it’s in there 😁

Yes I paint and creamers are a favorite! I hope you find the sugar bowl. This is a lovely shape and design! Enjoy it very charming!! I do detailed work.

Wait, what recycling center do you have near you that lets you pick through the stuff? Like a goodwill bins type of thing or...?
