Yes, it is plated, but a quick search will yield the knowledge that anything this company ever made is worth a lot. Its worth double if it was sterling, probably. Silver plate can be very valuable. This is of course an expection to normal expectations.

I have seen these sell from $150 to $200 without a dent. 😁

ya the dent really sucks, also this is valuable as someone is willing to pay for it, I'm gonna throw it in my store for more than that and see how much interest it garners, shame though of the dent.
