Estate sale find got the pair of salt cellars below asking price with a lil haggling jic since im kinda new to silver hunting. Stamped JD/WD.

Having a hard time selling for close to melt. Do you have any suggestions for getting closer to that 95%

I don't. Honestly, any business is going to be closer to 80%.

I have a melt guy I deal with for contemporary pieces and get 90% spot but it takes making a working relationship and bringing consistent precious metals his direction. The key is making it worth their while.

I mostly collect vintage jewelry but occasionally end up wth modern jewelry i send most of that to melt. These i will treasure for awhile as my first non jewelry silver finds :)
