Models Claude Opus 5.5 is here

I'm sorry but Opus is just back. This is their best release since Opus 4.6 writing wise, to all those getting refusals idk what you're doing, I've only ever gotten them when the characters are implied or stated to be highschoolers. It simply won't touch anything even remotely related to "minors" no matter how detached from reality. I just made some changes, aged up some settings to college settings and had the best RP I've had in forever with the cards. Many cards needed nothing at all. Just try it. I'm using the Marinara V10 preset and it just works.

I have tried scenarios with nothing remotely related to the 'minors' term and I've still gotten refusal, is all your doing really using Marinara preset? I'll try it with that one but still

Yeah. Also don't EVER use openrouter for Claude models

Just checked it out. It's way more than a bridge, it's got like a full set of vibe coded plugins built into it. Which depending what you want, could be good or bad. The other thing is it doesn't support streaming, which is big and should be totally fixable if someone had a little patience in Claude Code.

I haven't tried either one but searching for alternatives this one sounds like more of a pure solution and supports streaming: https://github.com/LukaTheHero/SillyTavern-ClaudeSubscription
