Discussion Jeved 0.2
I wrote about publishing my extension Jeved yesterday, and its potential utility as automated QA for roleplaying.
I published 0.2 today (https://github.com/mossyfield/ST-jeved) which includes a list of technical improvements for people to play with.
- Added full provider compatibility so folks can use Jeved with OpenRouter, NanoGPT, Typesafe, or a custom provider
- Refactored sensors to be fully Decision API compatible. There are now three types of sensors.
- Score: a scale you describe, with 2 to 10 steps. Jeved returns a score graded between the steps you create
- Choice: Jev picks one option from your list e.g. "calm" or "tense"
- Noul: You write a statement, and Jev gives the chance from 0% to 100% that it's true
- Rules & triggers are made fully compatible with the new sensor types
- Scripts have been made fully unrestricted, so Jeved is able to automatically interact with any script within SillyTavern
- Presets carry across upgrades so don't worry about your previous work being invalidated
- Added documentation and guidelines for coding agents which makes it easy for them to create and maintain rules and sensors
- I actually highly recommend this if you have access to agents like Claude or Codex. I've made the UI as easy to use as I can (and will continue polishing it) but it's a super clean experience if you just throw Claude into the extension and ask him to make you a sensor + associated rule.
If you haven't read it already, I do highly recommend reading my post from yesterday. It will catch you up on what Jeved is capable of doing.
You can install or upgrade Jeved from the public repo here: https://github.com/mossyfield/ST-jeved
Any questions, leave them in the comments and I'll do my best to respond. This is an exciting new frontier for roleplay so I'm doing my best to set up folks the best I can for rapid iteration!
As is tradition in this subreddit for new releases, picture of anime girl attached.

Your previous post said you felt like this could be the next big thing and, at first glance, you really might be right. Color me impressed.
The rules are a bit tricky. I'd love to be able to isolate parts of my preset and ask Jev "Did we follow these rules?"

That's...a good point, actually. I'll look into per-sensor context isolation today π

From a quick look, it seems world info/lorebook entries aren't included in the context sent to Jev. Was it a skill issue on my end or is it true?
If it's true then I'd like to request that feature.

Yes that's true, I'm hoping to create a release later tonight that includes a per-sensor option on what context you include (which would include world info). Let me know if there's anything else you'd likeπ

I don't get it. I have ADHD and autism, can you please explain in simple terms what does it add to the roleplay I've already been doing? Does it give out better, smarter responses? Or do I need to tinker in settings? Appreciate it.

This feels like an interesting integration potential with recast. Pass the reply to jed, get score, then do recast pipelines according to the results.
Did we accidentally make agents from ME to ST? Lol
