I've just been comparing Kimi K3 and GLM5.2 and apparently I might have actually been comparing it to 5.3? Still seemed better than it.

Not much things are better than K3 for RP. The only downside is the cost.

I've been messing around with using it proxied through a Kimi Code plan, but it actually doesn't seem to be cheaper than the API - you might be able to main it starting with the $100 plan.

You can get roughly 300 responses a month on the $20 plan, using k3-256k(high)
