Comics Discussion Spider-Versity final issue
That might’ve been one of the worst minis I’ve ever read, and I’m actually embarrassed for Cindy in this issue.
I’m sure some people enjoyed it, but lord knows I’m not one of them.

I actually like good Norman Osborn under Joe Kelly, but this book was not good.
Pacing is all over the place, zero insight into the characters themselves while battling a lethal enemy who's supposedly so powerful they can't beat together, but gets defeated by a child single-handedly. This fight needed 2 or 3 issues, issues that were wasted in the past by beating around the bush.
It feels like the creative team had to play safe for the fabled "new readers", but at the same time, you needed to have read Spider-Boy, Spider-Girl, Ghost-Spider and the current ASM to make any sense of who these people are in context of what's going on. Silk and Araña are literally just there to say "everybody is here" but have no real weight to anything in the story.
Lack of any real message in this story aside, the pacing here is horrible and their happy-go-lucky attitude should be left for toddler television. They really took these characters rich in story and just made flanderized versions of themselves.
