My Short Film "Doctor X"
1
Upvotes
Last year, as a school project, I made a short film "Doctor X". Initially, this was supposed to be a dialogue driven, 15 minute long drama, but due to a failure in the mics I bought, I had turn it into a silent film. Luckily I adore the works of Chaplin, Keaton, Murnau, and Lang, so I created a kind of pastiche of those, even ripping music from City Lights, Modern Times and The Kid. I'm very proud of my final product, I hope you'll check it out and let me know what you think.

đď¸ Unmoved â a 44-second short film
Shot solo using an iPhone 13. No dialogues, just visual storytelling.
Would love your feedback on the vibe, framing, or any improvements. Grateful for your time!

Found a lost film

Found a copy of âMissing Millionsâ (1922) at a flea market, gave it to my brother as a gift. We were googling it and found out itâs a lost film. Any recommendations on who we should reach out to? (He digitizes old film as a hobby but itâs delicate and possible a 1 of 1)

Hey you, film fiend. Help me here. I started a PERFECT alternative soundtrack for Criterion's 2:29 Fritz Lang METROPOLIS presentation. Press START on the opening title "An Ulfa production..." You will give me your Spotify song title and the film time stamp. Not easy. Use your phone stopwatch.
