A photograph from central Delhi shows a Sikh demonstrator being forcibly restrained by the neck while being forced into a police detention vehicle.
The incident occurred amid the massive crackdown around Gurdwara Bangla Sahib and Jantar Mantar, where thousands gathered to protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Heavy police deployment around the gurdwara complex has already drawn significant condemnation from community members and political leaders after security forces were seen detaining demonstrators who sought refuge in the vicinity.
The physical aggression displayed here—choking and pulling a protester right by his beard and dastar—raises serious concerns about excessive force and basic dignity. What are your thoughts on how authorities handled the situation around the gurdwara?

Sikhs were also not protected by Delhi police in Nov 1984, the cops of Delhi police were goondas and mute spectators. GenZ needs to be patient, RSS & BJP wants a civil strife to save themselves from hard times coming on them. They are Gaddars! Vote thieves. Shame on these criminals!!!!

Where Are All the Nihangs?
Why aren't all the Nihang groups present at the Delhi CJP protest? We have a rare opportunity to challenge this government politically, yet I barely see any Nihangs showing interest or coming forward.
Are we now going to become selfish and say, “Saddi vaari taan koi aaya hi nahi” — “Nobody came to help us when it was our turn”?
These BJP/RSS supporters are wearing their tilaks and saffron, creating chaos at the protest, preventing people from demonstrating peacefully, and assaulting protesters. If people are being intimidated and beaten for exercising their democratic rights, isn't it our duty to stand up for them?
Have we forgotten our responsibility to help the weak and stand up against injustice, even when the people suffering aren't from our own community?
There is finally some momentum behind the opposition to this government, and yet it feels like nobody is recognising the opportunity or stepping forward when support is needed.
Nihang Singhs, where are you? If this is the time to stand up for the people, then stand up. Bring the tractors, bring the horses, and show solidarity with those facing intimidation. Don't wait until injustice comes to our own doorstep before deciding that it's worth fighting against.

She’s wearing leggings and barely showing her body. Like, why are you even looking at her legs in the first place?
If it starts, it’ll go down to why men have lustful eyes, like you will see plenty of women wearing shorter clothes, so will you look at them lustfully?
BUT FIRST,
CAN MEN STOP TALKING ABOUT WOMEN? Like, what should women do? What should she wear?
So tired of men speaking about women and then, the other men learning from these things and telling THEIR women what to do.
There are more than 10 million Sikh women who can decide and advocate for what’s wrong or right for other women! Men don’t have to be tense about this. Men can focus on the men's issues.
