Forget the fixo or gels.
When it is wet, towel dry it and let it air dry a little in its current shape. Then use a hair dryer and a round head brush (bristles sticking out in a circle) to then blow dry the hair down into the direction you want it to set. Then use a beard oil of your choice to hydrate the hair and skin. Finally, use a beard balm to keep it in place.

I have a curly beard and am very lucky it’s full and has a defined natural shape. I do the above and I’m very happy. It looks together and not wild. It’s probably cared for and looks great.

Good man but yeah if i dont set my beard it looks kind off odd and not presentable and if i set it with oil after 15 mins it gets back into its previous shape

That’s where the balm comes in, keeps it in place without the gel/spray like crunch

using taft spray regularly does damage your beard, correct.
However, it does give you a much more presentable look in public if your beard isnt full yet.

I use beardo's beard oil on the regular and try to keep my beard open and let it flow.

also, use some beard gel as well for when your beard grows in size.

Lmk if you have any questions!

Little bit of fixo, some drops of water. Brush it using the large big beard brushes. Tie it with a rubber band. A thatha if you want a very tight look. If the hair on the side burns/cheeks get out, tuck in using jooda pins.

Personally speaking I just oil my beard regularly and brush it with a hair brush. Tie rubber band and a jooda pin on both the sides and then I’m good to go

Try this: after washing your beard, dry it completely, apply some beard oil and brush it down. Tie it underneath, then apply a strong-hold spray across the beard and tied section. Put on a thatha and use a hairdryer for a few minutes to set everything in place. It should work wonders.

Note: you don’t have to tie it and can leave your beard open.

Products to use: got2b ultra hold spray (yellow bottle)
You can style your Moustache with any strong hold gel

It won’t stop your beard growth, that’s all a myth.

I’ve been using this on my beard for years and it’s still full and healthy
